Error guide / Листи потрапляють у спам

Emails going to spam

If your emails go to spam, it means the recipient's filters do not trust them enough and hide them in the Spam folder instead of the inbox. The message still arrives, but almost no one sees it. The main driver of trust is proper domain authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and a clean reputation.

What causes it

The cause is usually on the sender's side: SPF/DKIM/DMARC are not set up, the domain or IP is new or blacklisted, the message has too many links and spammy words, or sending volume spiked. Less often an overly sensitive recipient filter is to blame.

How to fix it

  1. Set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC for your domain; this is the baseline, without it mail almost always goes to spam.
  2. Check your IP and domain against blacklists and request delisting where needed.
  3. Make sure the From address is on your own domain, not gmail.com or a free provider.
  4. Do not mail purchased lists or spike volume suddenly; warm the domain up gradually.
  5. Include real text, not just one image, and a working unsubscribe link.
  6. Run your domain through the email checker below and close every gap it finds.
