ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID error
ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID means the browser does not trust the site's SSL certificate because of its dates: it has already expired or is not valid yet. Because of that, the connection is treated as unsafe and the page will not open. Sometimes the real cause is a wrong date on the visitor's own device, not the website.

What causes it
Most often the site owner is to blame: the SSL certificate expired and auto-renewal did not run. Less often it is the visitor's side, when the date or time on their computer or phone is wrong.
How to fix it
- Check the certificate's expiry with the SSL test below: it shows the end date and how many days are left.
- If the certificate has expired, reissue it. On cPanel/LiteSpeed this is handled by AutoSSL from Let's Encrypt, usually every 90 days.
- Make sure AutoSSL is enabled for every domain and subdomain on the account, including www.
- If renewal keeps failing, remove any stale CAA DNS records or the old certificate that blocks a new one.
- A visitor who sees this error should check the date and time on their device and turn on automatic sync.
- After the certificate updates, clear the browser cache or open the site in a private window to see the fresh result.
